crash courses are good if u can already drive fairly well i'd say... i took 1 and passed but i'd been driving mi dads van occasionally since i was 16....

it's like mixing - it's just practice... lots and lots of practice till it's second nature - all this "i'm a natural driver" bollocks is just bollocks. it's over-confidence...

personally, i would - atleast then they'll put you forward when you're ready for yer test - AND if u bulk book with a local smaller driving instructor - you'll get a discount on yer lessons...

ask yer mates if they know/can recommend a local instructor - you'll get a better service and it's cheaper - PLUS you know you won't get touched up

usually in shields the driving lessons range from about 11 quid to about 18 quid... think i would take the cheapsest cos i'm a right cheapskint :D

my instructor said they are trying to stop the crash courses cause they aren't that great an idea. He says your best to maybe have 2 hr lessons a wk or something so ur not rushing thru things u aren't sure about and your able to take things in more. Up to yourself tho aint it :) Im plodding along slowly frustrating at times but i think its gonna make me more confident in the long run than what a crash course would tbh.
