    tidy weekender

noones started a thread about it yet so thought id start one, now im startin to feel a bit better!!

coach down friday was mint crack, ended up shitfaced as per but was well funny  :p

friday night was out for when the club opened at 9, someone called shaun m was on first before matt. what a prick, tried to show matt up by nailing it :wanker: his last tune was that skydive/bilingual tune played at about +6, matt played some quality tunage tho, darkside of the moon, children of the sun, sophie sugar, err cant remember much more tbh :spangled: lol

fergie & eddie were really good friday too, eddie's HH classics set, played hostile, kick it, over for me ect. ferg played some quality techno too!!

ended up fairly :spangled: afterwards, then most of saturday and missed justin robertson playing in the pub :( there wasnt much to do during the day tho so sat daytime seemed to go on for ever, and couldnt get to sleep either :spangled:

dark by design & alex kidd were quality sat night like, saw bits of jp & jukesy, andy whitby & k90 too, DBD stood out that nite for me tho, possibly the set of the weekend imo like  :king:

cant remember much of afterwards, think i got some sleep sun morning though, before going to the pub sun afternoon to see the three amigos :king: :king: :king:

played loads of cheese, house & trance, everything mixed together. their last 3 tunes were system f out of the blue, bon jovi - livin on a prayer and oasis - wonderwall. got completely pissed watching these, then they tried to get slash thrown out cos when they asked for a pint he took them some water up   funny as fuck though lol

sun night i acted like a twat at 1st (sorry people, was just a massive lack of food & sleep!!! :p ) but riley & durrants trance classics made me feel better  saw lee haslam, bk playin a tech trance set then glazby playing last, then left to get :spangled: again!!

have been canny nackered since got back, cheers to everyone that went tho was quality crack all weekend :D

might take a couple more days to recover though :spangled:

Quality weekend all round. Best sets were Matt Hardwick, DBD, and Proteus.

was good laugh, as always  :p think that was my last one tho, u spend far too much, which cud b spent on other things :)

fri nite and sunday nite were the best 2 nites by far :wiggle:

sat nite apart from jp and juksey and k90 wasnt really that good. they had nostyle crap in one room and hardcore gash in the other  so just stayed in the one room all nite and they were just all tidy djs.

fri best sets, defo matt's, fergie's and eddie's (suprise suprise lol but honestly its not coz i just like them 3 they were actually all class :king: )

erm sun stayed in trance room all nite, riley and durrant were really good. :cool2: bk played some good tunes but lee haslem was meant to b playin trance classics and only played bout 4. :dunce: fergies trade set wasnt wot i thought it wud b he used to play much better than that. :groovy: then glazby's last set was alrite, not anywhere near as hard as last yr. :spangled:

glad i got a bit of sleep so managed to stay out all 3 nites from start to finish :D

haha, dont think he'll top the last one.....Last year starting with kick it and getting harder....

Friday was good, i got a bit to wrecked on the bus there n had to go to sleep to sort myself out. That Shaun M on before matt actually wasnt bad, i dont think he really nailed it on purpose to spite matt, it was tidys fault for putting him on before him, he cant be expected to play trance when he's a hardhouse dj can he?

Matt was really good tho, Sophie Sugar - Call Of Tomorrow (John o' Callaghan Mix), John O'Callaghan - Resolutions, O'Callaghan & Kearney - Restricted Motion, Robert Giteleman - Children Of The Sun, Ernesto & Bastian - Darkside of the moon, Filo & Peri feat Kathleen Fisher - Closer Now (Whiteroom Mix) Couldnt have asked for much more :D, Fergie was absolutly class, best ive seen him in a long time......he was actually mixing and everything  Eddie was class played a tune he played on is essential mix last year and that Van Dyks been caining it was mint :D Not much scrathing but his mixing was top notch. Went in the other room to see Nick Sentience who was impressive and Ben Stevens who played the hardest set of the weekend. then went back to our room and got slightly fucked

Saturday was a pit pants really, Alex Kidd was not hard at all, so much for hardstyle it was barely hard trance. and Gaz West was absolutly shite, why he felt the need to remix and then actually play his god awful mix of universal nation is beyond me  JP & Jueksey were as good as eve but i had to go sit dow as i was way too tired as id had no sleep.

Sunday was alot better, Riley & Durrant were class...first 4 tunes when we walked in were Solarstone - Seven Cities, Rank 1 - Airwave, Agnelli & Nelson - El Nino and SOuthside Spinners - Lovestruck.....thought i need to change my boxers   Bk was alright, but was more techno than tech trance, then lee haslams joke classic trance with 2 classics, madagascar and yeke yeke. Fergies trade set was gash with no energy at all so we went to see Lashes  Then Glazbys last set was nothing on last years, had to go sit down again tho cos it was just way too hot and stuffy with everyone packed int he main room i thought i was gonna pass out, went n sat with bella n fran and sat taking the piss out of all the gimps.

he played more old tdv style hi nrg stuff than HH from what i heard, his friday techno set made up for it though :D :king:
