Easy... Reason is a doddle. Did you read the manual and PDF file when you bought it, or did you struggle with a cracked copy?
heh if u didnt get 2.5 then no v3 is not gonna offer an easy route in. the only way i found to start making tracks was to sit there for hours on end messing with everything and working out what it did, while doing minimal reading of theory and techniques
TBF nobody reads the manual (unless your sad). The best way to learn anything IMO is trial and error. I learned pretty much everything I know about web sites, video editing and animation etc., all by myself, without the help of a manual and I didn't go to uni or anything either....(and no cracked copies either Mr Foster! )
only played with 2.5 for a few hours at me mates (on his original copy)...think spending that amount of money on 3 would be silly if i cant work it though
download the demo of reason 3 and flstudio 5 would be my suggestion. then have a play and see whether its worth splashing out
my brother has it set up to run on 2 monitors one for the rack and one for the sequencer that works well, but i prefer the cubase sequencer
I will be getting Reason 3 soon. I would like to say that using cracked software does not mean you are a dullard and that you cannot work programs like Reason out just using cognitive ability. I hate it when people try and show off with there ability to buy software. Its like telling everyone you have a big c*ck, if you have.... well so what!?!... and if you are lying, then whats the point? I have used sequencers since Steinberg 24 on the Atari and found reason to be a doddle. I would highly recommend buying Sound on Sound for its Reason notes (or just go to the library and photocopy those 2 or 3 pages each month), failing that check out SoS web-site and forums. :chill:
Took me months to get the hang of it but i also did a course on it at newcastle College and can easily whack some good tunes together
reason were is it possible to get a demo of this programme and how much you looking to pay for the full thing only starting to try and produce tracks so looking to take the next step with better software. cheers peeps
Perhaps, but Cubase and reason are different.... Cubase is a sequencer, Reason is a whole software studio suite.
