Buy a used honda civic, mod it up to the eye balls, and then race in the civic cup, its a piece of piss and you can sell the car you win for £90,000.

I did a competition yesterday and won a car that was worth £320,000 but i cant remember which one it was

I play this and Pro Evo 4 (with all updated teams and strips :D ) All the time

GT 4 is amazing, even better than PGR2 on the Xbox

Im still using an impreza but the chassis rigidity's going on it, so it handles like a barge

don't have a ps2 anymore, so if anyone fancies keeping me a seat at thiers to have a sesh (on the playstation) i would defo be up for that.

ooooooooooooooh gran turismo. i need a scooby, i need it with nos and tuned up to fuck - bouncy suspension, back end out all over the place. :D

Only played this for about 15 minutes, unfortunately - the handling model seemed pretty damn good, but IMO not as tight as Gotham 2. Behaviour on PGR2 such as oversteer/understeer characteristics etc are modelled with even more exacting detail IMO than the still very impressive effort of GT4.

Having said that, the variety of cars and tracks and the modding ability will make up for that. Not sure which will be the best game in the long run, I will need to get me a PS2 and the game to see on that score :)

    Harry

Edit - another shit thing about PGR2 unfortunately is that you always have ABS and launch control on, seemingly - it is stupendously hard to spin your wheels in a straight line, and when you do, backing off will do you no more good than the TC.

Really mint game, my onlygripe is the dirt racing isn't very impressive..."invisible barriers" galore...not a patch on the likes of Colin McRae rally 05 in that respect. But then again it's not a rally game so that's to be expected,

It's a close one between this and PGR2, but Forza racing will blow GT4 away though!!

Graphics are good for PS2 but not a patch at all on PGR2.

It's a pity the GT4 team can't embrace the power of the XBOX, in my opinion it's the PS2 that's holding GT4 back.

Still very impressive though, will spend hours on it.

    I've got myself a '97 Honda Civic Type R :D
