Eh? ok i was in the metro travelcentre thing in haymarket paying my fine that i got the other day, and i noticed this small sign right next to the window. i thought i would look stupid asking, so i just took a pic on my phone. what?!
there has to be a reason for it though, some child probs choked on one or something and they got a complaint in and they have to be seen to do something about it - that's my guess anyways
i dare say they would'nt care much if people were chokin on e m i reckon people have been chewing / sucking on them before they've been due to hand them to staff or sumthin, and they've had to pick up a card covered in drool, thought 'shag that, make a sign telling em not to do it!' thats what i think anyway :groovy:
probably something along the lines of that.. maybe with the next load of passes they're gonna dip them in a concentration of cyanide to put an end to drool sandwiches (aka bus passes belonging to the gurning residents of newcastle ). Least they could say 'We told you not to eat them'
I just thought.. isnt that sign worded a bit strangely? "Would customers please refrain from putting bus passes in your mouth" :spangled: To me that suggests that anyone who reads it is gonna be looking to their right and left for any sneaky little ***** trying to wedge a bit of bus pass down their throat
Quick rule of thumb for you there, always look for any strange signs before putting something in your mouth
