    Kieron "go on" Dyer

    Well i have to admit i have been impressed with Dyer over the last month or so... HE has started to show some good form and last night he was fianlly doing his trademark runs intot the box that he seems to bottle these days... I think he is defo heading back to top form whereas Jenas has been very poor and gives it away to much my midfield would be

    Robert Faye(Butt) Dyer Bowyer

    Not one of them can play on the right of midfield though! We need Nobby back in the summer!!:D

    Dyer has been playing quite well though, glad to see him doing it, because it would be a awste if he moved on for a few million. I'd rather have him playing well for us, than somebody else

    emerton no, not high profile enough for newcastle.

    SWP, we can dream. it's not the money, cos fred could put in a bid that city could not turn down but it's just i don't think he'd be that up for coming. he's been linked to real and arsenal this year, that's the sort of club he's a heading i think.

    as for nobby, if he knew we were really really interested in him we could have him cos if a player wants to leave a club, they will. it's not a long term solution though, and we'd look fools. go forward, not backwards i say.

    Dyers main problem: doesnt score enough goals. Facts speak for them selves, I dont care how many runs he makes into the box, they usually dont go anywhere. What seperates him (a good player) from say, Lampard (a great player) is the number of goals scored per season. Lampard is worth about 15gls a season in his current form. Gerrard cant be far behind either. Thats more goals (correct me if im wrong) than all the other newcastle forwards (exception:Shearer) put together.

    Alan Shearer 15
    Craig Bellamy 10
    Patrick Kluivert 9
    Shola Ameobi 5
    Lee Bowyer 6
    Dyer 3

    Lampard = 9
    Gerrard = 9

    Ok, I was embarracingly wrong there, my bad about the strikers, but I still think I have a point with the amount of goals Dyer scores per season.

    Dyer has really looked the part recently - and I've never, ever been a fan of his. Credit where it's due though, he cocked up a few months ago but has made up for it by working his socks off, well done to him.

    Casto is more of a right winger than Darren 'Curtly' Ambrose

    dyer's been playing well recently but he dosent get enough goals!! neither does bowyer either!!

    we need central midfielders who are gonna put 10+ goals away a season.

    You see thats the problem there.

    You want high profile big name players. Why? What does it matter who what or where the player has come from???

    As far as im concerned all that matters is that the player has the talent....doesnt matter if hes a big name or not!
