I haven't read what you's have been bickering about but after reading rachel's post in this thead I have to agree. If I could take back ever touching drugs I would, I've sat in 'trainspotting' type flats with people smoking crack and taking heroine, the same people that said they would never progress past e's, and who now beg and steal to get their next 'fix'. I;ve lost numerous good friends, who never knew when to stop, to this lifestyle.... its easy to say you can control it....I used to say that....but it is so easy for thngs to spiral out of contol...it took a counsiller and a hospital visit to teach me that......

True ever1 does them in one from or another, but as terri says, it can slip way out of control. And it does. Fact.

Everyone on here is an adult. You all know the difference between recreational and addiction. Time will tell.

The issue of MDMA's neurotoxicity is very complex,
including debate about what constitutes 'neurotoxicity',
but almost all experts now agree that MDMA is a neurotoxin.
The question of what that means to users is still open,
however. The jury is till out on that one.

Some people can control it, some can't. Saying one drug always leads to another is like saying if you drink alcohol you will become an alcoholic.

No-one knows the long term effects yet. The problem is you can't run a controlled experiment, as in twenty years or so cause and effect will become too blurred. For those who have taken drugs and end up with mental health problems in the long term, it will be impossible to tell exactly what, over the course of your life, has caused it, and it may or may not be anything to do with the drugs you have taken.

It's all about weighing up the risks as you understand them, and making your choice. Some people fuck up, some don't. Taking drugs does appear to change the odds though.
