i'll agree with that, but then again they were made up from the cast-outs and dunces of britain and mostly ireland. Having the thickos of ireland as ya ancestors doesnt really bode well for future generations.

it was mad that. if, as ness says, that when this came out in America it was a number one box office hit, and as they should be, all the things said in it were factual, WHAT THE FUCK ARE THE DAFT AMERICANS DOING???????!!!!!!!

It pains me to think that the most powerful country in the world has a leader and has intentions that are so corrupt that it could endanger all our lives.

not just the lives of the troops that are sent over there-every human life on this planet. through the stupidity of one man we could all be wiped out if it all goes to ratshit and some fucker gets the nukes out.

absolute madness. did you see the parachute demonstration/marketing scam on US breakfast television? what the fuck? "oh yeah bill it will open from even ten floors of a building"?

all for the greed of one nation. families blindly following the president and calling themselves the backbone of america, hanging out thier stars and stripes everyday for pride in what i would say is a shocking misplacement of trust.

To be fair your living in a dream world the whole world is corrupt, but to be honest it's better that way. If we found out all the shit that went on around the world, there wouldn't be any world left because it would have been blown up a long time ago.

I'd also like to add, don't believe everything you see on the screen, good editing can change the whole spin on any situation.

Also I wouldn't be surprised if Bush isn't a puppet who is controlled by team of people a lot higher up than bush who will run and always run America, because it's safer that way.

Just rememeber that sometimes bad shit happens for a reason and even though the reason is a bad one, on the whole it can make things a lot better.

it was made by/aimed at yanks anyway so it was always going to be over an over the top, over hyped biased view - it was stating the obvious - but this is what the americans fail to see - how fucked their government is (like most) - but - it still made no difference - and he's been re-elected.

history will see him for what he is.

there were a million better ways to make the point than this film, its just character assasination aimed at those with a lower IQ than bush.

no longer smoking or drinking! - for now...
I didn't see this last night, but we recorded it so we should watch it either tonight or tommorrow, I will report back then.

I've read 'Stupid White Men' and 'Dude Where's My Country' so i'm aware that the film will be heavily, if not totally biased.

But I do still want to see it, i'm intrigued. :)

The film is good since it shows (like 'super size me' did for fast food), despite its obvious failings in being very cleverly edited and of course, biased.... that there IS indeed another point of view in the world.

In britain the righties might scoff and say they know there is and choose their affiliations accordingly, but you might not have spent any time in the USA at all. The country is SHOCKINGLY biased in favour of the right to laughable levels - Im talking about mainstram news shows like CNN/MSNBC with presenters RAMMING their opinions down your throat.

In britain, imagine if you turned on the 6 o clock news and not only did someone tell you about what happened in Iraq, but then spent 5 minutes ranting into the camera about what THEY think should be done about the situation .... We would be up in arms about it!

If it encourages a few people to pursue some exploration of world events and politics, moreso than if the film DIDNT come out - then it has been all worth it.

Michael Moore bashing has become so passe' these days - The guy knows more about this world than anyone on this forum will EVER know, he deserves respect for that.

On an intellectual capacity he knows very little, he is dwarfed by most lefties.... He is to the left wing what Arnie is to californians.

He deserves respect for converting so many people to the left, but not for his knowledge.

bollocks, you're talking shite. his facts are facts, if everything he says wasn't 100% bulletproof he would get his arse sued to hell & back by Bush & co

the fact that this hasn't happened means every fact in the film was true
