    Roads in Alnwick were atrocious. Two centimetres of snow and gridlock! Hillbillies! :lol:

    its toocold for me...i've been out this morning in my car but my toes are still frozen! :(

    Honestly, no idea why anybody can like it? Its too cold! I dont wanna think what it will be like when it snows properly :(

    Its NEVER too cold. Its just your not wearing the right clothes.

    My mate used to work in -20 temps and said it was like summer cos he wore all the right gear....

    Isnt that right Private Mack?

    With the North Face jacket on I dont feel the cold anymore. Goose filled jackets are the way forward.

    Pike the lad hasnt that style of jacket you want & he has sold the all NF jackets he had.

    I didnt get any geese myself but someone did somewhere.

    As I am big lad I would imagine at least 1 geese + young geese should be enuff for my jacket.

    That is indeed correct Sarge, I used to play out in -25's all the time,

    use the following guide to keeping warm in cold climates

    C - keep it CLEAN
    O - avoid OVERHEATING
    L - keep is LOOSE and in LAYERS
    D- Dry

    COLD innit :D
