    Armin and PVD:angel2: :angel2:

    and how about Tiesto..?

Now thats what i call fresh! ;)

Come on does Promise REALLY stand a chance of landing such A-List DJ's..? Sorry but in my opinion not in a cats hells chance! :(

It seems (from what i have seen from the scene in the last year that i have been following it!) that if you want them, then you have to go to a Superclub like Gods :(

But don't get me wrong i'm really pleased with

Promise, April 8th 2005 - Promise's 5th Birthday As i seem to not be able to get enough of eddie at the moment! Its just a shame that none of the above meantioned are not on

    :(

armins playin the shack in feb, both pvd and tiesto have played in recent memory, ie over last 12-18 month, and tbf promise is a much bigger night than the shack, no disrespect.

through the foundation night and parties with goodgreef, promise is one of the most highly respected nights in the country, and gods arent the club they were. they book morillo, hed kandi ect and vary the music policy weekly cos they cant fill the club booking trance djs all the time. and have also just changed from a fri night club to a sat night club cos theyre not getting people through the doors, leaving promise as probably the biggest fri night in the country. promise could easily attract any of the 'big 3', if they were willing to pay the £££'s.

i know, i think a 'mini promise' type night has shitloads of potential, just havin 1 ressie and 1 guest on per night at a smaller venue. what was the cube like? did it get busy??

and yeah chris its only 1 night a month from jan.

I think its a class venue for a small night, didnt always get that busy, but was never really empty
you could tell that the majority of the people who went werent 'dedicated' clubbers or anything but it didnt really matter

although most of this board would have a field day if that crowd arrived at foundation

They would more than fill a club the size of Foundation. If Foundation was 50 miles south!

Anybody who hasn't already shouldget a hold of a CD called Christopher Lawrence - All or Nothing.

Amazing stuff, hope he plays like this at Promise.

Admitedly they're all his own tracks but it's got a nice unique trance sound to it. Nab it off me on soulseek if you like.

They're not bad lineups, can see them being busy. Any chance of a bit of diversity in the back room though? I know Pete, Mark and Luke do a grand job, but it'd be nice to see some guests once in a while. Wasn't Byron Stingily gonna do a Live PA or something? Or am I imagining that? :spangled:
Some PGR in the back room would be class too

A lot of clubbers don't live in newcastle and travel quite a way just to have a good night out. At least with the likes of big names such as jules and halliwell they know what to expect, and know whether theyd have a good night or not. Most people arent going to travel far to see an unknown name, it's just a fact.
