    Thailand update

Apparently some pubs and bars are already back open and some Brits are "back on the piss".

Many Brits are staying on to finish their hols.

    SICK FUCKS

Apparently people where standing by filming with handheld cameras as people begged for help in the water just meters away.

Some tourists refused to leave the beaches thinking they where too clever to be swept away.....

Surely they'll be helping the local economy though?

That is just sick  Bastards
    *****. Typical Geordie scum

But also, good to see them getting back on their feet. I presume that if pubs are open, so are shops and things, so life will be improving

a minutes silence is to reflect and remember...

to put your cats death in the same senetence as 120,000 perishing is both stupid and insulting.

Shall we scrap funerals too? How about we just have the body taken away and burnt ASAP so we don't all look like we are putting on a show

Did you ever hear the term "mark of respect"?

Jus has a bit of a point...why not donate some cash tot hem so they can try to rebuild their towns/villages/livelyhoods/lives instead of standing silent for a minute which is nice & helps us remember the dead but does fuck all to help the ones still alive without anything over there!

I know where Juski is coming from, and sympathise - it's all very well expressing your sorrow, but it is hollow unless it is backed up with action.
