Their techno style comes from the acid techno/london free party scene.

It's not my favourite either, but they definately put out some good stuff - RAW#9 is class, as is some of the hydraulix stuff, and they've been an important part of shaping the uk techno scene to what it is today.

You having a laugh mate? Rob Hood slow? I'm guessing you aint seen him play or heard any of his mixes before...

The bits you have recommended there seem to be the looped, soulless bollocks that gives Techno a bad name imo.

monkeybunch - not sure what sort of stuff you've already heard. Give me a pm and i'll try and sort out some mixes if ya like.

I'll come back with a list of people to check out...

Juan Atkins - The bloke who had a hand in inventing Techno would be a good place to start... hard to get hold of mixes by him though.

    Robert Hood

Jeff Mills (A good starting point would be Live @ The Liquid Rooms 1995, absolutely insane mix that properly got me into the whole thing, basically defines Techno at that time and was years ahead of itself).

    Claude Young

Any of the Underground Resistance DJ's (Rolando is a good place to start come to think of it - he did a mix for our radio show last year. Copy if ya want).

DJ Bone would maybe appeal to you, quite accessible.

    Thats only a start...
