I do like my grub, and I reckon I must have been to most of the main places to eat in and around Newcastle..well within my sooper skint budget..

anysuggestions for where's good, i like most food types and i need some proper meals after a week of drinking and chocs..

Went to Chiquito in the metrcentre 2day.. I know its not in town but they do nice grub.. mexican style..

didn't they used to be next to the Warner cinema..went once and was quite nice but obvs not there anymore

I think they were.. then they were the deep pan pizza place.. dunno what it is now though..

Sachins at the top end of the quayside (next to times square) is also nice.. but canny expensive..

They do lush indian meals..

i live in arthurs hill so i'm kinda spoilt for indians, we have some excellent ones here..

will bear i mind tho, expensive eh, better work on wor lad...

Nice new restaurant on Pudding Chare - The Comfort Food Co or similar

Zizzi on either Grey St or Dean St, cant remeber how far down it is. It's above the lodge so i think its on Grey St. National chain of good italian food. Not chep, but by no means not reasonable.

Slug and Lettuice on Quayside aswell.

Spice Cube in the gate & the one just up road from waterside palace on forth banks...forgot name tho! :spangled:

There's a canny little Indians on Pudding Chare too that me & Sarah found. Can't remember the name of it, but it's up at the top. Good food & cheap

always fancied the Waterside Palace, they do a seafood banquet thing for 25 quid a head which sounds nice

nearly went to Zizis last night but had heard it was pricey so went to Uno, rubbish service but cheap.

used to be a wicked restuarant down there called Diablo's

is Nagomi a Japanese resturant BTW

really like sushi

do they do teppenyaki as well..don't really know anyone who likes sushi apart from me..

Blackfriars is very good aswell.

went to coco mos last nite.

its so nice in there, doesnt look it from outside but inside is lovely.
and all the food was really nice
