    Costco Gatesherad

Anyone use this firm? Had a Costco card for a while but never used it , are there big savings to be had?

Yes. And Yes. Doesn't seem like massive savings at first, but when you buy a pack of 000's of tea bags which last about 6 months you've then saved yourself a bit. Do all your shopping there and you should notice the savings :)

Though saying that, it was my parents who bought the stuff. And we only went once. I thought it was cool though :D

Costco is my favourite place  I'm not sure about booze but for big items you can save tons. Our recent purchases include

    A SLR digital camera.
    A telescope
    A clarinet
    A huge set of pans
    Loads of kids toys

We do our research on prices of things before we buy them and we usually find there is about 1/3 of the price knocked off. Often more.

Oh and the croissants are nice too :D

You were in costco? I walked past someone that I thought looked like you but as I've never met you I wasn't sure!

The only annoying thing is the price tag is without VAT and you have to look at the small price beside it.

Suppose not. Just a pain when you think you're getting an even better deal.

It can also be a useful tool in justifying spending money you don't have!

costco is right next to the metro... if you cross that rail bridge thing and come out of (apparently) main entrance that noone ever uses, turn right down the road, voila, on ur left biiiiiiiiiiig grey building

bargains to be had... got a tv for nearly 550 quid cheaper than it should have been... was stil £1600 quid but can't grumble!
