it was pretty good, not so keen on his new stuff, but he still puts many a performer to shame with his old routines.

had a pair of lasses sat behind me all night tho... done my head in - never stopped fuckin yapping, and when they stopped doing that they took it upon themselves to keep grabbing my arse (i'll be honest, they didnt look too bad, but the boyfriends sat next to them did) ...

still, quality stuff on the whole

I was there!! I loved it. I have always wanted to see Elton John live. I was dissapointed that he didn't play Goodbye yellow brick road though. Or did he? What was the 3rd encore after he was signing the autographs? We decided to leave to miss the traffic cause it was the first time I had left Thomas with a babysitter and I started worrying about him at about 8.30

A friend from work went and said it was shit.. Which secretly pleased me because I despise Elton John and told her it would be crap, so I was right.:laugh:

It seems he played a lot of new stuff and hardly any of the old favourites (just what I heard like, shoot me if I'm wrong.. bang).

he did do a lot of his new stuff - his first 9 tracks were all new.

tbf, his new stuff was actually good, the only thing which put people off was the fact that that wasnt what they expected.

having seen him tho, i did go and buy his greatest hits album today... used to have it when i was younger (grew up with it tbh) but lost it as you do when ur young

gotta say, im pleased im bought it - so many memories flooding back, my very first favorite song - kiss the bride... i loved this when i was a lil' un...

it probably sounds silly but im grinning like a loon listening to this..

How could people not be expecting his new stuff? The tour was named after his new album

It was mainly old stuff he sang anyway

yeah, people had to expect it but i dont think people wanted it... his new stuff definetly didnt get a massive response.

i quite liked it... that one with with the cat or something had shades of the bitch is back but with a nu vibe might invest...
