Question about the music at Promise these days

i know at times i've put the boot in myself, but all the new people i have introduced to it of late have loved it... and going regularly now.

in the eyes of someone who has been going for a long time - it'll never feel the same, for a number of reasons.

as it stands, the club seems strong, it's trying new people (admittedly in small doses, but hey) and managing to keep it's head afloat by booking people who will bring the money in... tbh i dont think we could ask a great deal more of it...

i dont go as often as i did - at one point i would go week in week out regardless of who was playing... now im more picky, i dont go as much, frequently, but not as much

but on the whole im very pleased with the majority of nights ive had there of late... some of this years nights have been the best ones ive ever been to, and that says a lot.

ive kinda gone down that route now, getting a bit of stick for it too but tbh i go clubbing for the music and couldnt give a crap bout what sort of people a club drags in. promise just doesnt it for me anymore, i only seem to enjoy the first couple of hours until the night really kicks off, then i find myself bored
