I agree with you rach tattoo's are horrible.

i'm 100% sure about that design. i totally love it. just not 100% sure abouit getting it on my spine but, as crasherkid is painfully aware, i have an obsession with symmetry so having it anywhere else would knock me off balance.

i know i want it...im just a bit (lot) scared.

my biggest one is at the bottom of my back, they all hurt but its bearable Heather

the one on my shin (sp?) hurt worse... maybe cause the skin is tighter/thin/less fat and it was all long, black lines


apparently your back has less 'touch' sensors than other places (cause u don't need to feel much with your back!)

I had the whole of my right foot done in Ibiza, it's fucking hurt like hell.

my sides are dead tickleish so i've been advised to get it done dead centre cos apparently it hurts more where your ticklish, but only 2 people have said that so im not sure.

i think im gonna need it all done in one sitting cos im not sure id go back to get it completed...but i reakon id be grateful for a tab break half way threw.

i'm not convinced with that particular tattoo, but it's all about taste and preference really

Got my first one right across my shoulders, took about 3hrs. Didn't enjoy the first half hour, felt sick so the guy gave me a bottle of coke and lolly(!) to help bring my sugar levels back up. It worked a treat and for the remainder of the time I just got absorbed with the music playing in the background (System Of A Down - Toxicity, not something i generally listen to, but i love 'em now!) and let the endorphins do the rest. It's a disturbingly good feeling!
So long as you can fix your mind on something else whilst the job's in hand, before you know it, it'll be over and you'll be sporting a fantastic piece of artwork on yourself!
I feel the urge for another one now after that!

I wouldn't get it till I'm 100% sure.
I've got 3 a butterfly on my tummy,tribsl sun on bottom of my spine and I've just got 6 pawprints top of my spine.

It sounds like it will take a while to do and the longer it takes the more it hurts. But I like the pain in some weird way. It makes me want more too.

good response, tell me, why dont you like it...cos i love it...but...i love it as a peice of artwork...have never seen it on sum1's skin...but i dont want flash work...i do want something original.
