Had been listening to rave, hardcore etc etc since 1988.... but what got me right back into the scene was probably seeing judge jules and graham gold at newcastle uni in 1997.

6 quid, wednesday night, diet cokes and nothing else - hardcore you know the score. :)

Wooly plays like Wooly. His stuff's too across the board to be like anyone else ;)

Nah seriously, he appeals to that side of me. The 'funkier' side is where the influence from people like Farina come in.

First time I got into the music it was more tunes like offshore '97, saltwater, skydive, cafe del mar, gouryella, toca me, three drives, 1998/1999 etc etc than specific dj's and sets, had a few decent compilations. Went to sugarshack a few times and some shit nights in the next town but started to listen to other stuff around 2000-01 and stopped going to nights. Got back into it last year

That's fair enough, that's your opinion.

I too reckon some of his stuff his boring, and a bit samey, but I reckon that's due to the sheer volume of stuff he's knocking out at the moment. He goes through bouts of it. When we don't hear anything for months, he always comes out with something really good, then ends up doing a shitload for a few months, then going quiet. You can't say his productions aren't original though, he does some crazy shit.

I prefer him for his DJing than his productions though.
