They are the shit, I've got a few dvd's and a load of video's. Rattle + Hum, awesome! Their new album is the mac daddy too.
the biggest mistake pepole make thow is they think its all about bono its not man u2 are a band that what its about
Edge is a really really good back up singer. If you haven't heard it, check out 'Van Diemans Land' where he has lead vocals on it. Larry + Adam are quite unsung, but quite easily one of the best at their profession.
u2 are quality - Joshua Tree:worship: theres been loads of decent talent through the decades, all the way through up to present day; Elvis Presley Creedance Clearwater Revival MIchael Jackson (everything off 'off the wall' album) The Beatles Ac/Dc Led Zeppelin Bon Jovi Ian Brown u2 Marvin Gaye i could go on!
U2 are absolute bile now. Bono is up his own arse. There old work is fantastic and musically significant but their modern stuff makes me cringe.
Correct, gold star for you. I hate Queen and Michael Jackson. Hideously overrated. Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Bryan Adams, Alanis Morrisette are some I like that have been mentioned in this thread.
Some of U2's old tunes are just pure class I loved Wham too  "Pop" music these days is absolute toss
I only have/like the greatest hits 1980-1990 & 1990-2000 Bryan Adams's new stuff is gash aswell but his older stuff rates him as my favourite artist - ever.
