    OK hun scenario:

A goth joins the crasher board and says "matt hardwick is a kiddy fiddling nob end who can't mix for toffee" This would obviously stir up shit... Where as if he posted in darkcrypt.com it would prolly go down extremely well....

There is a time and place for opinions.

As we all pay to go to promise week in week out - chances are we like what we pay for (otherwise we'd be very sad wouldn't we sloppy ;) :p), I fail to see where the sheepish behaviour is, it's blatantly obvious the majority of us rate tulip, as this is the frigging promise message board genius!

I personally think richard is one of the most talented dj's I've heard - at times his music isn't to my taste (when he goes into really deep "intelligent" prog mode) - but at other times he's one the best dj I've heard (trance classic nights, after julesy)... The amazing thing about richie is his versatality, he can play almost any form of dance music at a very high standard - not many dj's have that ability.

We're not sheep you clutz, this is the Promise messageboard its obvious he's going to have a few fans here

Cheers for the opinions lads. I obviously created quite a stir! But I will remain true to my opinion and say that Mr Tulip just isn't my cup of vodka and red bull. I appreciate what you are saying, but I'm afraid although the man obviously has talent on the decks, I'm just not keen. As for me calling you sheep, I merely thought that there must be other people gracing the boards who surely agree with me? Fair play if there isn't, but after all - I'm only voicing my opinion!

I will give u my honest opinion, i dont give two shits what "cronies" might think of me... I also think you are talkin absolute shite!! Why the fuck would I or anyone say that I liked a particular DJ just to agree with mates?? It doesnt make sense... Yeah I ll listen n dance n smile to a dj i dont really like, but so long as my mates see me doin this then its sound... NO!!!

Fair enough, u dont like him, but to assume that there are people who pretend to like him is absolute shit!!

The sole purpose of a message board btw is to promote the club... D

If i didnt like him, I would say so... I personally think he is arrogant.. coz he did completely blank me one night when I helped do the flyers... no thank u or anything (I volunteered one nite) actually i didnt even get acknowledged, I didnt get anything for doin it, not even a thank u and wont be doing it again!! Gratitude for u !!

But that doesnt jilt my opinion on him as a dj...

Exactly my feelings! I know one dj (by the name of Lee Foster) who would completely blow the likes of Mr Tulip out of the water if given the chance. He's amazing - Promise, take heed!!!!
