    he is qualified i think.

i agree with him, it does detract from the night. And it makes a much better night when the system is good.

You fucking ignorant prick. You think anyone who disagrees with you is fucked on drugs, bullshit, what happened to formation of opinions? Just because you are "into" something does not mean you have an all telling knowledge of that subject.

"A good ear"? Give me a break... Surely different things sound better to different people, if ya dont like it go elsewhere, simple.

    TBF...

You are wrong, he is right. I guess that makes you the muppet?

If the air con is not working/its been a very hot day the temp in the amp room rises too high.

If the temp in the amp room rises too high the amps cannot produce a clean signal (I don't understand why, I don't need to understand why, it's just true).

If the amps cannot produce a clean signal it sounds parp.

I've seen the same problem in a few clubs, really the amp room should have it's own aircon system as server rooms have (but im yet to see that in any uk club).

All the kit in foundation is very well spec'ed and installed. Ok, its no fabric/Republic but no corners were cut with any part of the system. If it is sounding parp (can't comment as I've not been around for a while) it will either be as Mark says due to the heat in the amp room, or the needles are fucked, or the djs are clipping the signal on the mixer.

i know for a fact that andy has the sounds sounding spot on before the nights start, and that he regulary checks the amp room to make sure everything looks ok on the levels in there

the club just has a very bass orientated system, as i would say it is mainly a house club, so it works well with the majority!

this + the mp3 comment along with your general tone are really laughable tbh

you can barely tell the difference between a 24bit audio source and a properly encoded 192k mp3 at all, and i have monitor speakers which do tell all.

the sound in foundation is decent enough, if u want to experience more hi-end for longer, get ear plugs; it'll save your hearing too.

    lol were you actually there?!

Pull your head out of your arse mate, you obviously ain't got a clue what you are on about. Your dismissal of the heat comment certainly proved that, it DOES affect the sound, so I guess Rob is right, you are the Muppet.

A few facts, I was there you see, therefore I am in a position to comment:

    A) It was busy
    B) Faulty aircon - was actually the hottest night ever in foundation......read the associated threads, then come back.
    C) when was the last time you played Promise? Who are you to say Eddie/Johan/Richard/Anton are crap?!

You obviously don't like Promise, so why the shitting hell do you post on the board?!

Xanda - Your MP3 comments are laughable

You should seriously consider a career change if you actually believe what you said.

Chill out, if you don't like the Foundation sound system, you don't have to go mate. It's pretty simple really.......I don't like Avacados, so you know what? I stay away from them.

    Hi, i'm the newbie

i reckon everyone being pally first is topps, sound sysytem second MARK MAITLAND PLAYS FINE

Are you ok Xander? :D ;)

Drugs does intensify the sound etc.. but when i'm faced i can hardly tell :) (well when i used to take pills etc..)

Promise does sound muggy <(lol@perfect word) I think its embarrassing when the music goes dodgy in foundation, specially when your dancing is really in to it and then fuck up.

Promise is'nt big enough in my opinion it'll
Gets to humid for the system.

Can you not buy out Ikon.:D

i cant remember seeing your name on the line ups recently, when did you become the sound expert like? people can have there opinion on the system, just like you have yours.
