Got broken into for the second time tonight, my house got ransacked and 3 of my mates laptops got stolen. The fucking bastards kicked our back door in and smashed the alarm.

I think theres probably gonna be a high amount of burglaries tonight due to police being busy doing other stuff and fireworks creating a diversion. So if youre out tonight, lock your doors and shut your windows.

When u go out, as well as leaving a light on, put the radio on quite loud 2 make the house seem occupied. it hardly wastes any electricity

yeah all looks good on the insurance side, what really shocks me is that i think it was pre-meditated, because they only took the laptops and the adaptors.. they left loads of expensive DVD's and stuff lying around...and completely disabled an alarm system.


And knowing that the thief knows what else is left in your house.....

We got broke into on a Friday night, they didnt bother coming round until the Tuesday!! We had to buy some locks ourselves for the front door for over the weekend, it was shocking. Our bedroom doors had been kicked right off the hinges, all 7 of them, it was pretty nasty

ffs, i cant be arsed with living in fear in my own home, what can i do about this? Moving out isnt really an option until next year.

Not trying to put you off or anything but you say you have been broken into twice. So had we and the police told us that they normally wait a while until your insurance claims come through cause they know the sort of stuff you will be replacing

Have you got double glazing?

I live in Heaton and we got burgled early this year (We were sorted for insurance and the losers missed the :chill: in the fridge) , l was talking to one of the police and he reckoned your much much more likely to be burgled if you havent got double glazing, as it harder to get in, the doors can be kicked in etc. So we got the landlord to put dble glazing in and we havent had any bother since.

ive been toying with the idea of buying a samurai sword for a while now but if people are gettin robbed round here this much im defo gettin one. would love to see a burgulars face as u walk out to confront the fucker with that in ur hand
