    I was thinking the same, I think of Techno as Laurent Garnier, Robert Hood and Jeff Mills......Fergie would never come into my head when talking about Techno...

    Techno is about repetetive 8-bar loops of the same sound. The only instance in which it sounds good is when there's a very talented techno DJ playing it.

    I agree with Teknofish too, Fergie plays 'hard dance'. Get Ben Sims on!

    Not all techno's eight bar loops allie what about basic channel stuff, Detroit techno out which tech-house came.

    Go see Richard villabos, Derick May or steve bug if you get the chance all play different styles of techno.

    Techno covers a hell of alot music and styles from mental industrial looped stuff right though to abstract soundscapes.

    Fergie seems to play hard funky stuff mixed with hard dance would like to see Umek at promise but would settle for chris leibing
