Last night - Dalek, Fleming et al@Mills

    Where to start...

First off, I have uni for 9 on friday, = 7 am getup. After that ordeal ( lasts til 6 pm ), i get my shit together and head to Mills - I'm late to meet Brid and his friend, so I assume I'll meet them inside and go straight in.

I can't find them anywhere, and I have forgot my mobile.

No matter - I listen to the night solo / with randoms.

Oh my dear god. That was the most stupendous event I have been to, period. If I had had company...

The cheesy house room was where I started - with a Corvin lookalike Djing, complete with beret - who, bizzarrely, recognised me as Harry Grigg. Seen it in a newspaper when he was in Newcastle, apparently, when I was in for the powerlifting. Tunes ranged from some pretty tough house to Lola's theme :) Good fun and a good warmup.

About 1 or 2, I left the backroom and crossed over onto the main floor. Don't know who was on at this time - was some class hard techno a la marco bailey. Rocker played at this stage.

Corvin was on at 3 - what a blinder. Don't remember him being that good at promise. One of the best sets I have heard. Continued the techno groove of the first up DJ, with his distinctive sexual twist of course ( a man shouting , "hug me, kiss me, blow me, fuck me? )

He got into his usual prog material for the last hour up to 4 30, which was still really entertaining, but not as much my style. Dropped an unbeoknown to me prog mix of Delerium Ft Sarah McLaughlan - Silence - had the crowd reaching for the lasers and singing along, was so rammed, the atmosphere was the best I have ever seen literally - no one could move and no one cared, everyone pressing together: I don't think human language has the eloquance and articulation to describe that scene.

    No Cookie Dough Dynamo? Odd.

J00F was up next, from half 4 to 6, again amazing set, building into his usual stuff, followed by the resident (nameless to me), who was thrilling, working the crowd with better known material, finishing with Motorcycle - As the Rush Comes, and one-moring Sasha - Expander. Worked well for the 6 to 7 30 finish - there were only about 50 of us for the last hour, it was a great atmopshere again, although different this time.

Well, I have just stupendously waffled my current state of mund out on to the page, uncharacteristically: I am finally going to go to bed and die.

Not like you to be late Harry!

Brid, whatever time harry says, add about an hour to it, and that's when he will appear.

    Sounds like a mint nite!!

Brid got the knock-back at the door. Apparently that bird he was with was 'ripped off her tits'.

Sounds like it was a good night Harry.

Had the pleasure of attending - Corvin was pure quality alright - my first (hopefully of many) time at The Gallery - very impressed!

The tune with the "Kiss Me, Hug Me, Love Me and Fuck Me" vocal is Eiven Major's mix of his own Pornoground!

Yeah, I got them in the end mate :) I just forgot to take my phone to the club so I didn't know at the time. Sorry about you getting KBed, hope your friend was ok :)
