    Excuses excuses..........

Ive had this morning off work to go for a job interview. I told work that i was attending a funeral. Does any1 know any other good excuses for throwing sickies at work cos sickness and diaorea, and migranes are just a tad too common and i need some different exuses for next time.
    Thank you please.

Call in saying you've been arrested for buggering a lamp-post. Works every time.

I knew a lad who was going to a job interview so he phoned in work and said he'd been to the Celtic game the night before and got arrested for fighting and couldn't make it into work cause he was in the nick.

Say your getting a new washing machine/some electrical appliance delivered and you have to stay in all day to wait for the delivery man.

Pulled that one last week me :king:

Means if you get seen out on the lash that night by any of your workmates/supervisors/boss then you dont get the sack

a lad i used to work with had asked for a sat off...it was declined so when he rang in saying he'd been burgled...our manager asked him to come into work with the polic ereport once they'd been! the lad wasn't impressed with this as he lived in sunderland & work in newcastle & he used public transport! anyways he eventually turned in bout an hour b4 th eend of our shift with his police report...he'd also been caught by th et.v. liscense people after the police had been & then he got caught on camera the same day stealing from the vending machines & suspended! not his lucky day!

Bit of a bummer when you actually have to go to one and work wonders why so many people you know seem to die.
