last night at shindig

worst night ever - pulling a trick like that isn't even funny - couldn't move, no space to dance without being elbowed in the face, and you couldn't get away from people to take some time out anywhere in the building. far too hot, no matter how much water i drank i was dehydrated and you couldn't get away from the heat as it was absolutley everywhere.

bad move shindig - i bet you made a fucking killing that night too

i was too pissed off to appreciate him but there was some good tunage going on as i went to get my coat.

i just couldn't get into it.

I hate it when a club is so full and hot that you cant move/breathe

It was OK, wasn't my sorta thing tho. And Nass is right, it was far too busy.

Far too many pretty people making me more socially insecure than I already am as well.

Lawler was fuckin wicked.

Was a bit hot like.

I couldn't make it for a few reasons, gutted about not seeing Lawler, but he'll be on again. It is bad when it's really hot and cramped, but you get used to it, been a few times when it's like that, but I don't let it spoil my night tbh.

It was busy, i didnt find it too hot though. But then i rarely do.

Lawler was very good indeed, as was Scott before him.

Only problem with the night was SHINDIG WANKERS. I probably prefer the music at Shindig to Promise, but i always enjoy myself more at Promise. Shindig has the worst crowd of any credible night in the UK. Every time its remotely busy, these people are everywhere. They dance in circles, half of them not facing the dj (or rest of the crowd) so they are constantly backing in and with elbows everywhere. It really gets annoying after a while. When Promise is busy, this does not happen at all.

And i got started on too, by some scroat who said i pushed him.

Got fucking drenched afterwards as well.


Still a good night though.

yeah agree with you there like orbit. like shindig music more than promise, but the people/atmosphere/heat is far better in promise than in shindig. dont know why that lovely music sttracts such wankers who love themselves though.

does foundation not have air conditioning, its always hot as fuck in there!!! even on monday nights!

i didnt think it was that hot? It was too busy tho. Too many spice boys for my liking too. I thought Lawler was pretty boring too. I expected alot more, after hearing his latest CDs etc.

See Nass, this is why I told you I wasn't. Shindig's always like that with someone like Lawler, far too busy. Even 'through the back' will have been fucking rammed.

it was a class night imo, was busy but i didnt let it bother me, lawler was on top form and it was a class night
the shindig mullet crew were out in force tho, it was like being in a boxing ring at times, dodging arms and elbows lol and thats when they acually stand and dance, most of them spend the whole night walking on and off the dancefloor, ill definately be back tho the musics quality

I agree wiv you Nass, and Orbit..was far 2 packed and had a fair share of tossers Big men were smacking into me and i was nearly falling over, all they have 2 do is turn round and say im really sorry...they just walk off and arent even bothered...:evil: Suppose ur always gonna get pushed when ur out clubbing though, just wish people would be a little bit more considerate...doesnt take much effort :think:

It was faaaar 2 hot last night i thought! Craig said before we went in...it is absoloutly rammed...and when i walked through the doors i felt like i had just got off the bloody aeroplane with the heat! Really packed though, suppose thats good..but it seemed like the atmosphere wasnt as good as it would have been if there'd been a few less people Good night though anyway. :groovy:

Steve Lawler First time i have seen him he's class. Everybody was loving it!

Foundation defo has air conditioning, you can always feel it at the start of the night ('it's too cold!' *nippleon* ), but once it reaches a certain capacity there's a balance where it's ok, and after that it gets quite/really hot.

This is saying something though, even UPSTAIRS was boiling and in my experience no matter how busy it got you could always chill upstairs.

Me and Marty went up there for a breather and were occasionally seen to be sighing with relief when a cool draft came our way, but it buggered off straight away.
