I've wondered about that place for ages. Wasn't sure whether it'd be nice or not!

Est Est Est is nice. Good food at a decent price. I've not been to the one in Newcastle mind, but I'm sure it's just as good.

The restaurant in the Baltic is supposed to be very nice also, as is Treacle Moon on the quayside

Had one of the nicest steaks I've ever had at la rivera- don't remember it being particularly expensive either.

i well reccomend the kubli khan mongolian on the quayside. its bout 15quid each for an all u can eat, but it aint the usual cheap crap. u pick ur raw meat or fish or whatever, and ur noodles etc, an hav it cooked to your liking and brought to your table. they also have a chinese buffet included.

barn@ the biscuit factory in shieldfield is lush, as is heartbreak soup on the quayside. both are poshish and expensive -about 80 for two with wine.
