    the spice girls and robbie williams have been a huge negative influence!

    crappy 'groups' like them mean half the acts in the charts nowadays are there because they want to be famous, not because they want to make music!

    wanting to be famous must be the number 1 worst ambition anyone could ever have...you really need to have a word with yourself if this is what you want out of life!

    hmm doesnt make a diffrent if there british are not would you argue the fact that bob marley shouldnt be in the uk hall of fame as if it wernt for him you wouldnt have jungle,regge,hip hop rnb, on a global note , all artists that are in there have had an influnce on the uk music scene like it are not they ernt that right by being who they are

    and prince the influnce he has had is fanfuckingtastic if you listen alot off his beats are in house and funky house music and he aint from uk

    not my favourite, as i see many are voting for, but in terms of impact on all round british music and culture, oasis would trounce the rest...

    they have also done a hell of a lot for british music overseas, brits have a much larger influence in america than you would think and oasis are a large part of this... as do radiohead, however they lack the wider appeal of oasis..

    most of all, they get my vote because ketrat likes them, a miracle in itself considering his unwaning love of scummy hard house.. theres hope yet..
