one of me best mates used to have panic attacks bout this when he was on the beer all the time. he once went into me mam's bathroom nd started punchin the walls coz he couldn't stop thinkin bout the fact that space may be infinite but is also constantly expandin therefore must be expandin into somethin. freaked the fuck out of him......always was a bit high strung like

thing that freaks me is how small and insignificant we are compared to it all.

I know the answer to the universe is: 42.

    FACT.

which goes to the idea that it's all a big infinite loop, no real 'edge' of the universe... which sounds plausible.

plausible? how the fuck do i know!!

we'll probably never find out on this planet... we will have self desctructed long b4 then...

hasn't that got something to do with the theory of travelling at warp speed. bending space so that u bring the point in space u wish to travel to to the same place that u are travellin from, or sumink like that  :spangled: :chill: :D

    or faster, to be exact.

u could go out into space, faster than light then look back at the light coming from earth, in theory looking back in time

exactly, they could have evolved millions of years b4 us monkeys.

think its naive to believe that we're the only planet in the universe with life on it.

in our solar system, maybe we are the only planet... but in the rest of the galaxy? or our univerise? it's statisitcally more likey there is...

aye in our solar system but there's millions upon millions like ours, with stars ust like our sun, that could support life.

not sayin i believe there is, i just think there probably is.
