Anyone see this last night on 4?

saw the first half, but was too tired to watch the rest.

Was very good.

I couldn't believe the attitudes of those 2 pakistani guys, threatening to "mash him up" (the reporter) for no other reason than the fact that he was black.

"Yeh man yeh in a few years, it won't be England, it'll be Pakistan"

Saw it advertised in the paper as "Who You Callin' A N****r?" and innocently thought it meant 'nutter'.

It was interesting to see a show discussing racism on TV that ignored the usual charges of prejudice against the British host community.

All the Asians from the charvas on the streets to the very rich had very low opinions of black people.

Was quite an eye opener I thought. Still thinking about some of the points raised. In some respects, it turned perception of the "traditional" racist on it's head whereby the so-called minority groups are purporting racism against other minority groups but within a different community when once there was a common bond or perhaps unity between them. It also showed that some of the most biggoted individuals are from ethnic/social backgrounds which were once subject to prejudice in the past yet are now more commonly accepted in society. I see it every day at work, a kind of uneasy tension between numerous ethnic groups, it's hard to explain... :spangled:
