WHAT THE FUCK HAVE I DONE?? lol.

It started off with me asking why two (very good) dj's who play different types of music are on in the same room.

JJ was the 1st Dj i saw live @ GC when i started clubbing 6yrs ago (shudder -i am so old :)), he blew me away, and i think Eddie's excellent i just can't understand why they're in the same room, that is all, didn't mean to start WW4!! lol

at the boat he played a bit of everything, started techy, went trancey and finished with hard house, but that wud have been cos lashes etc were on after.
i seen him in the main room at magna, started techy again but wasnt mixing properly and played a stinker (rumour has it he had a row with tidy) he was just really bad n the crowd started getting on his back, there was a thread in the music forum about this not long ago mate. :)

see this is more the thing im into, DJ's playing various stuff in sets rather say trance a whole set, but it has to be done right, and obviously eddie is inst hitting the spot for everyone

This is the thing I dont get, some DJs play sets & everyone is arse licking around & saying what a set that was due to the various styles played. Others are slammed for playing more than 1 style.

Pete that was what was so good about the Lovebox @ The Racecourse it was so varied.

damn good point kid. When the music is the same all night bosh bosh bosh it gets boring.

    It should be varied

For this read Tony de vit. Hard house dj, remembered as! but listen to Global underground live in tel aviv and you will see he plays eveything from house : dj supreme to trance jon the dentist global phases. That was when dj'ing was djing .
Trouble is too many people grow up listening to just one type of sound so you cant expect them to draw their influences from anywhere. That is also one of the reasons HH is on its arse

yeh i think it can work with some styles pretty well, i just found that eddies way of doing things didnt cut it for me, probably down to the fact that i dont like the majority of stuff he played, i have seen him play well tho, but recently hes been very dissapointng, most recent being magna.
    :)
