ipod mini question does any1 know how to get the click/quarter second gap between the tracks off? can you do it? not good when you're listening to mixes
it's an MP3 problem rather than a iPod prob. Are the tracks seperate or did u join them? if it's (for example) a mix album u downloaded off the net in it's seperate tracks - you'll need to stick them al together using something like Soundforge or MP3Split.
aye, it's probably converted each track seperately. you'd have to get it as 1 long MP3 first then copy that across.
Man Of Science is right. Theres nothing you can do except convert the aac files (Thats what format there in, when itunes records them) to mp3 and join the tracks together. Its a hassle for all your mix cd's though, i've got used to it now and rarely notice...
yeah, don't think i could be arsed to do that for all my cd's! will have to get used to it then i suppose!
Same problem I had the same problem a few months ago when I got my I-pod. The only way to avoid it is to convert the CD as 1 track and leave it as that as man of science and clique said.. Obviously you lose the ability to get the individual track and artist names on, but that's the price you have to pay. It is one of the most common threads in all of the i-pod forums I have found. It's a software problem not i-pod, that I believe apple are looking into and are hopefully going to rectify soon. You'll find that after a while you don't tend to notice it as much though.
