This might be news to some...

Reading some of the latest messages, I get the feeling that no-one likes the 'beer drinking' 'strangers' who only come for big events, and that they don't appreciate good music?
Is this widespread naivety? To get in big names the promoters must either hike up the prices to ridiculous amounts (even more than they do?!), or boost the number of people thru the door which will inevitably be a more mainstream crowd.
These people aren't invading 'your' club, people who come to foundation do so for the music. If they wanted proper mainstream they would go elsewhere. They certainly aren't coming solely for beer binging and brawls!?
They, like you recognise the venue and the night for exactly what it is.
So when you see someone with a shirt on, a bottle of beer in hand, and dancing terribly (probably me!) bite your tongue. Imagine what you cyber kids look like to them, neon plastic, luminous dots on face, spikey hair and flailing arms. But they keep on coming back.

Anyway, expect several hundred replies when I log on next.
    Fun to stir things up.
    Bring on Kelly and Halliwell!!!

i dont have a problem with beer boys, its the ones who go out looking for fights that i have a problem with. i dont give a fuck what people wear/drink. i dont class beer boys as someone who wears a shirt/drinks beer, a beer boy to me is someone who goes out looking for fights, be them dressed in shirts or cyber, if ure going out for a fight n not for the music, then ure a beer boy.

Fair point matey, maybe people (me included) are too quick to judge someone by what they wear/drink/look like and it is a narrow minded thing to do. But it happens every day in life and its something we have to live with and put up with unfortunately

    Not biting mate just conversatin.
I myself sometimes like to go cyber:rolleyes: if you can call it that.
Also someweeks just jeans and t-shirt. When referin to beer boys i think of the arseholes who deliberately barge into you or dont apoligise if done by accident. Thats just bad manners i know but the majority of them are pissed as fuck. I'm noy sayin you are one of these select few arses cos i dont know you to judge you.And im not sayin that everyone whos pissed as fuck is an arse. But i take it you see my point.:D :D

there are wankers everywhere you go, in all walks of life. clubs are no exception.

it has to be said, however, that drunken wankers are the worst kind.... :(

i hope this didnt all start because of my post in the big events thingy. im not saying i dont like people who drink beer n wear shirts, my big brother drinks beer n wears shirts (sometimes) and he's one of my favourite people in the whole world (awwwwww) all i was saying is i dont like people who go out and start fights, no matter what they are wearing, i go out to have a nice night, not get splatted by the blood of unseuspecting victims. it just so happens that its mostly the charva generation (notice i said charva, not beer boys) who start the fights, n i dun like violence :D

Re: This might be news to some...

some of them DO only come for big events. As its the same music policy all the time, and its not always as busy as the birthday night, so some of em do only come for big events.

its not that the people are not liked, its that the atmosphere changes considerably at large events, when all these people come. Its more of a horrible big superclub atmosphere, busy, hot, sweaty. The atmosphere is normally much nicer, friendlier.

we r not all cyber kids.....i certainly am not.

the only reason you will get a fun hundred replies is people correcting you.

i agree, bring on Lord Eddie...:)
