The boys reckon that more local talent should b involved in promises line-ups, as the alleged big stars are usually cack n boring ie Seb Fontaine who wos shite! We reckon the likes of DJ Scott/ Full Effect/ Attack/ n the MC Stompin should get hired! who actually work for their money

With the mentioning of MC's this sounds frightfully like happycore!

And local wise, they're giving us 00 flemming

Promise is a prog/trance club, so hard trance is really as hard it will usually go (with odd exceptions) I also reckon this suits the club best.... Promise isn't godskitchen, they do have a rough idea of what they will and wont play... I don't think happycore would pull the crowds.

As far as MCing goes.... We get pissed off when they introduce the DJ... an MC would prolly scare everyone into hiding

Im not saying they should play happy hardcore @ promise (far from it!) its just ive heard a lot of amazing warm-up sets (hard trance) @ the afterdark with Scott n Full Effect b2b they usually dont have MC's but this once MC Stompin came on and set the place on fire! he really did send the crowd in2 a frenzy! ive gotta tape in the house if u wanted a copy?

actually Mr Fontaine wosnt that bad but his set although mixed superbly was made up of tracks (in my opinion) that didnt really make my toes tap (until a further 7 cans of that wonderful Jamaican export Red Stripe) not exactly wot i had expected from a man which i c with god-like status?????

Hard Trance DJ's I reckon are good, theres a few of us trying to get them to book local hard trance DJ Gav Green, but they've already lashed out on booking Eddie Halliwell... not there number 1 choice... if I were you I'd wait till eddie halliwell has played on the 15th of march... if they like his style of hard trance I'd say your blokes would have a better chance of getting booked

As far as seb goes... he's was good before his cream residency but now he puts me too sleep (as he did on the 22nd - I think?) - fortunatly richard and tony both played blinders so I still had a good night!

One thing I forgot to mention......... DJ GG is not from NCL....... Hes from a muc nicer city (with less unemployed/fat ppl in it) not too far away!!!!!

We alllike seeing the superstar DJ's but even they had to be given a chance at some stage in their careers.

Someone said Gav Green and Eddie Halliwell used to play at GoodGreef so there can't be too much difference in ability.

I know his music and i agree with some people that it ain't exactly warm up material so let's have a full night of hard trance!
