Ryan most of modern science is based on muslim discoveries you clown! Be it mathamatics, science or inventions that pre-dated the renaissance era by centuries....

Most historians credit the arabs as the founders of scientific progression.

I'm sure you don't believe arabs live in caves hunting camels and drinking the blood of white men.. Pakistan is one of the fastest growing ecomnomies and has cotnributed massively to technilogical advances in the last centuary, as has Egypt, Turkey and Saudi Arabia... these are hugely complex societies which contribute massively to both academic and technological science.

Osama Bin Laden doesn't represent the fucking arab world you ignorant twat! Thats like saying the IRA represent catholics... And as for not attacking Osama Bin laden waged war on merica because they had 5000 troops positioned on sacred soil, the west had corrupt the ruling class trapping his people in poverty while the west and a few wealthy arabs soaked up all thr riches....

I'm no muslim fundamentalist - but they had fucking cause to be pissed off!

Oh not the British Empire line as usual. For heavens sake, when will people let go of the past.... alas, no Arab is allowed to, that's the nature of their culture.

As far as the BNP is concerned, that's not for me, as I embrace all culture providing it is open and a choice.

It's a real shame as Islam is In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.... just a shame that compassion and mercy are not often exhibited.

Actually Christ lived around 2000 years ago, not the past 500 years, which is the time-scale in my question.

I haven't mentioned Osama Bin Laden, you have.

As far as personal insults are concerned, they kind of tell me more about you than your points ever could.

They're not making much sense. I see lots of rhetoric and bitterness, but no real answers and definitely no balanced arguments.

When you look at recent history, the people who have done the most damage to the Arab world and exploited the Arab's most of all in have been the Arab's themselves. Saddam is living proof of that. There was no Arab resistance to the genocide of the Kurds in Northern Iraq.

''The muslim religion is f ucking up the planet with its wars and jihads. One day they may find out that there is no glory in heaven and that their is no such thing as martydom. How stupid do you think they'd feel if after doing these atrocities becuase they imagined they would sit at the right hand of god - when all they had to look for was an eternity in hell.

Religion is a sick cancer that is going to destroy us all. If you cant see that then you're a f ucking moron.''

*off another board and quite true*

What a very strange perception of the Arab world, you base your entire arguement on one country, what about

    Algeria
    Azerbaijan
    Bahrain
    Bangladesh
    Benin
    Brunei
    Cameroon
    Comoros
    Djibouti
    Egypt
    Gabon
    Gambia
    Indonesia
    Iran
    Kazakhstan
    Kuwait
    Lebanon
    Libya
    Malaysia
    Maldives
    Morocco
    Mozambique
    Nigeria
    Oman
    Pakistan
    Qatar
    Saudi Arabi
    Senegal
    Somalia
    Sudan
    Syria
    Tunisia
    Turkey
    UAE
    Uzbekistan
    Yemen

What threats do the arabs pose to themselves in these countries? or did the BNP pamphlet your reading from not mention these countries?

Strangely however, all of these arab nations with oil reserves seem to have US military bases on them... All of these countries with oil reserves have regimes that are controled (or were at some point) by the western world and organisations liek OPEC...

It also isn't big fat arabs who fund organisatiosn liek Al Queda, it is western organisations like the CIA who have invested interests... you guessed it... oil... You find a problem in the arab world and 9 times out of 10 it can be traced back to a western cause!

You say they are a threat, yet despite all the billions of dollars they generate every year - the vast majority of these arabs are dying in third world conditions - while the west lives in splendour... That is far more damaging than a few thousand killed in internal conflicts.

You ahve a very tinted outlook on the world... And a very ignorant outlook on the world.

There are fundamental problems in the arab/muslim world with mis-quotations of scriptures and the qu'ran. This is not being helped by foreign policies and actions of countries such as the US, UK and Israel. Also, lower conditions of health, education, income etc in Islamic nations contributes to the need to struggle to acheive better. This can manifest itself as a fight against the west/"crusaders"/"zionists".

Although the governments of many Islamic counries do not help the situation by denouncing/criticising the West and then happily accepting terms and conditions when it can be benificial to them. Both sides share a part in the blame and liberal policies will not solve the problem, neither will hard line policies... and middle ground has to be found. That is easier said than done.

Osama bin Laden objects to foreign soldiers on Saudi Arabian soil that is his maijor aggreivance... issues such as Israel/Palestine mean very little to him, however he uses them in his fight as a means to belittle the west and rally support.

    :)
