I was about 2 miles from yours when I rang. I didn't know you wanted tabs then. I was ringing for directions as I couldn't find your street on the A-Z. I usually ring to confirm anyway in case someone is taking the piss, and to see if you need me to swing by a garage, or whatever. No-one answered. Can you not find a ringing fone even with the power out? It was max one hour from you ringing me to me ringing you back.

What else can I do for you?

fair play. but we said when we first ordered that we needed skins and tabs.
we were told that some wud be gettin picked up on the way.
cudnt find the phone simply for the fact it was pitch black. was hard enuff trying to walk around the house without walking into something.

Now I remember... I was there, where were you? Your place wasn't easy to find, I was outside, ringing your fone. When no-one answered, I fucked off.

    fair do's

I do all the deliveries, and I can tell you exactly whao hasn't had what they ordered. If I can't do an order, I ring to say. More often I ring and get no reply, or arrive and they are in bed, or a wind-up. On Sat I missed 2 in S'land, one in Wallsend, one in LongBenton, all cos no-one answered door or fone.

From Drinks on Wheels, you either get your booze, or I call you to tell you why not

theres been a few people who have ordered stuff who havent got a delivery.

i cant complain about the first time tbh. 20 quids class for a slab of stella. and for the distance travelled aswell.

just hope if we do order something next time it will get delivered.

i understand that it cud be hard to find the street. im not from that way and wud probs find it hard myself.

I rang someone's fone, possibly it wasn't yours.

I didn't knock on the door because I couldn't find the fucking house. I don't wander the streets at 4am either, not waving a crate of lager around. I ring so the customer can come to the car to collect thier booze. It's safer that way

Do you think many people would pay by credit/debit card? All I was thinking is that you could take a £5 deposit for the call out (non-refundable)?

You could then knock that off the cost of the order when you get there.

I know it could be a pain to setup but it could save you money in the long run maybe?

When I worked for Domino's credit card fraud was a big problem, even if you have an imprinted copy of the card, if the card owner clams not to have used your company you loses the money
