    Re: trafalgar

was it just me or did anyone else notice the taps turned off in the toilets. i am quite sure thats actually illegal. trafalgar were really out of order for that as well as the extortionate prices.

trafalgar's afterparty at sugar was £10 on the night - i thought it had been advertised at about £5 or £6.
again - it seems to be trafalgar who are the real thieving so and so's of the event, not shindig.

I thought that was illegal too.

Never went to either party at the Baltic. How much were drinks there?

i cant remember exactly how much they were at the baltic. they wouldnt have been dirt cheap but there was no way they were in the league of trafalgar times sq bars, but that was because it was an outside, reputable company that shindig brought in to do the drinks last year. there was no real choice this year as those bars are already on the square and offered extra venues as well as some shelter if it chicked down.

lesson learnt - never will i give sugar or any of those times sq bars any of my money, ever again!!!
they had a real chance to show off their bars \ clubs to a new crowd and all they've done is make people remember them for the wrong reasons.

single voddy and cranberry £3.60. nooooo!!!

I thought it was also illegal not to provide glasses of drinking water at this kind of event, I couldnt get any at the bar and ended up spending loads on water and £3.50 single vodka and cokes!!

I had a class time was the first time Id been house clubbing and was with loads of my mates the crack was spot on

Saw what all the fuss was about Morillo he really got the crowd going, however Im not into house music that much and I knew about 75% of the tunes he played. Is he always like that or was he just playing well known safe tunes because it was this kind of event?

£3.50 for a vodka - coke? Isn't that pretty normal for around the town? Thought beyond charges that on a normal night?

i went to the bar to ask for a glass of tap water and he wouldn't give me any. i simply could not be arsed to get into an argument about how it's illegal to refuse someone a glass of water ina club so i grudgingly paid my 3rd £2.50 for another bottle of water!!!

    arseholes!!!!!

I didnt think much of Morillo at all to be fair, his mixing was a bit dodgy as well for what he can do - i know what he can do so i suppose he just had an off day to me and me mates !

Sandy Rivera was well good and i thought was probs the best on the outdoor stage - we didnt go into the Powerhouse or anywhere else cos i couldnt be arsed to que for ages when i had already que'd to get in there, as expected and which was the same with all the bars and that too - i think i bought one drink all night and the rest was off people going themselves !

I liked to venue and the sound system was spot on and the banter was class with me mates :D

However the after party @ Foundation was by far the best of the night, Steve Lawler well and truly rinsed the club with some banging prog which was just outstanding ! If i had of got into the Powerhouse and heard him playing like that id of just stayed there all night !

I only had to wait about 30 seconds to get in powerhouse. Was constantly busy though.
How busy was it outside when Morillo was on
