    i'm a racist

    i got wrong at work for saying that someone is coloured. apparently they like to be refered to as black. Well i'm sorry but i thought the latter would have been below the belt!:groovy:

    I got wrong at work last summer cos there was a guy with one arm workin there and i said "leave him alone, he's 'armless"....

    this story was made into a poem....and since then black has been considered to be most PC:

    A black man walks into a café early one morning and noticed that he was the only black man there.

    As he sat down he noticed a white man behind him

    The white man said:
    “Coloured people are not allowed in here”

    The black man turned around, stood up and said

    When I born, I black
    When I grew up, I black
    When I sick, I black
    When I go in the sun, I black
    When I cold, I black
    When I die, I black

    When you born, you pink
    When you sick, you green
    When you go in the sun, you red
    When you cold, you blue
    When you die, you purple

    And you have the nerve to call me coloured

    one of my mates is asian and she went mental coz a black woman called her black, she always calls herself coloured (mind you shes the most racist person i know, and its against other asians)

    You'll find that nearly everyone over the age of about 35 calls them coloured because that's how they were refered to before the 70's, and that's what they were brought up to believe the race was defined as. 'Coloured' was on the census forms and all other survey types back then, as was 'oriental', which doesn't go down too well either.

    Listen out for older people (sorry, I should say adults!) saying 'coloured' and youngers saying 'black'.
