    Personal CD/MP3 Players

    Has anyone got one ??

I take it you just burn MP's to disc as normal then they will be playable on this piece of equipment - they dont look any different in size or anything and will still play auidio cd's but im just looking into it first before i go out and buy one - i still dont know what one to get either if i do get one :spangled:

    Cheers

Cant afford an IPOD and for the extra £200 id rather get a new PC which is on special in the papers today for a limited time only !

I also doubt at the moment that my current PC would take the software given out with the IPOD cos its tempramental like that, tends to crash every now and then and i have to be careful with downloading music n that case it fucks up like it has in the past !

Thats why i thought of getting one of these players cos there not all that much and play both audio cd's and mp3's !

Im only a civil servant

You can get a sony one for £65 that plays all mp3/atrac cds an stuff. just burn them to disk an it plays them like normal. got one w hile back cos I use mp3 cds for my car and didn't want to have to burn them all again. works spot on for me.

get a RIO RIOT, basically an ipod wannabe, solid sound, full eq, radio, 20 gig hdd, mp3 / wma. About 100 quid if u look hard.

    Nuff sed.

PS, I have one, and its the fucking boy, only downside is that it is bigger than an iPod. I personally couldnt care less about the size as long as it fits my pocket.

Just got one off Ebay for £180. Not bad considering I was thinking about paying £150 for a mini disc player...
