Is this a re-release with a touch up or a completely new version?

Completely new version. Well looking forward to it. Explotation cinema of the late 70's to early 80's is my favourite era, so it will be interesting to see how this one compares.

Zombie films are the fucking dogs bollox. I must have 15 on DVD at the least. My top five have to be.

    1) Zombie Flesh Eaters (aka Zombie 2)
    2) Dawn of the Dead
    3) Living Dead at Manchester Morgue
    4) Day of the Dead
    5) Re-Animator

torque looks absolutely awful, even worse than biker boyz

looking forward to starsky and hutch, though i still cant believe they remade dawn of the dead, the original is one my my all time favourite films.

    Enjoyed Starsky & Hutch.
They got it just right how they referenced the original but made a whole new flick at the same time.
It's class when Stiller accidentally cokes himself up.
I'll leave it there so y'all can enjoy it yerselves.

 Agree torque looks completely wank. No doubt it will be mindless explosion-a-minute big budget shite with no plot.

starsky and hutch was my fave program when i was a kid but from wat i've seen of this i haven't got high expectations. from the trailer they seem to have gone too far on the comedy side when starsky&hutch original was a light hearted show yet had serious plots. yeah it had a fair bit of comedy value (usually the interactions between the 2 main boys) but the trailer makes me think it sways more towards the zoolander kind of film rather than a mission impossible kind of remake which i'd personally prefer.

    could be wrong like.

    You aint wrong at all.
If anybody wants to see a remake of the classic, humorous yet gritty original then they'll probs be disappointed.
It's been made more as a mickey take of the stereotypes you'd expect from the 70's. I enjoyed it cos it didn't try to be the original, but it still brought back memories of it.

Same 2 leads as Zoolander tho.
