There's always good tunes about its just sometimes it might take a little more effort 2 sniff them out.

I've just spent an hour and a half in HMV in Newcastle (nice n quiet on a Sunday) and ended up spending £28 on 4 bits of vinyl.

Here's what I bought with my hard-earned cash:

Santos - Sabot (Mantra Breaks) its the Evil 9 mix which is getting all the plaudits, but the first Santos mix on the flip which I did it for me - nice dark and techy vibe with a breakdown which will take the roof of any club guaranteed. Dance music needs people like Santos - people who are prepared to do things just that little bit differently and get it right.

Soul of Man - Dirty Waltzer (Santos/Madox mixes) (Mantra Breaks) a bit old now but pretty much essential I reckon from the consistently brilliant Mantra crew.

Gideon Jackson & Nino Naumov - Serious Fun (London Housing Benefit) dark & techy warm-up fodder with a superb spoken vocal.

....and I'm not going to give the name away of the 4th tune. Its in HMV, its got an awesome spoken word vocal and its been played by big-name DJs across the board - a guaranteed dancefloor hellraiser!!!

    Happy hunting :)
