    puma signs

    meant to post this ages ago... has anyone got ay idea what those graffiti puma stencil logos are for? and who the fuck has wasted their time spraying them on?

    see them all over town on walls and phone exchange boxes.. the same in leeds too...

    anyone? :confused:

    I noticed them and loads of other stencils mostly when the iraq war was going on... could it be something related...?

    u think it was puma themselves? it crossed my mind but didnt think they'd do something so... i dunno 'local' like grafiti signs considering they are such a big company and its illegal.... - thats what made me think it wouldnt be them...

    wicked if it was them.. i like it!

    These are all over Headingley and around Leeds train station, maybe its some sort of tagging like what the grafitti fanatics do Im not sure.

    Its called guerrilla (sp) marketing and in theory its illegal.

    It does the job though, deisel did a load of it a few years ago in london and was really successful.

    There is a huge "Banksy" stencil on the outside wall of The Arches.

    I have seen some Banksy work in Ibiza aswell.
