How do you know I don’t live in Bathgate?

I used to live in the next town and commute to Edinburgh for 3 years, Bathgate to Edinburgh center is 20 miles you do the maths

Hmmm... I happen to agree with tom, I have never seen a more enthusiastic dj in my life... he gets the crowd going and looks as if he is thouroughly enjoying himself. He is held in VERY high regard by the regulars and is a top bloke aswell as being an excellent dj.

Don't dismiss the views of the regulars, afterall who makes the club what it is?

People pick at anything & everything !!!

Surely if there that devoted to Promise and being REGULARS they should be happy to see ANY Promise DJ's playing at other clubs.

I didnt pick at everything and anything - I ASKED why pete wasnt on the line up because hes one of the best djs promise has... is that so wrong?

I am a regular and have been for a number of years.. that is why i ASKED.

I said 'is pete robnson on this lineup?' someone said 'should he be?' I said 'i thnk so cos hes really good'...

I thnk that is called being 'devoted' to promise...

find me the place where I said anything derogtory about promise or told mark how to do his job? I ASKED not TOLD or CRITISCISED... is this a crime?

or did you jus not read the thread?

its frustrating as hell to be told things like that when you are in fact saying something positive about promise...

I assure you i'm not telling you how to do your job (I wouldn't have a clue would I!)... as I have said before I enjoy Promise thoroughly... I was more reacting to the 'get lost scruf' comment as I feel regulars should have input, however small. I'm glad to hear Pete is valued because he is fantastic at what he does imo. :)

    agreed

it doesnt matter whether ur a regualr or not, it's not our place to tell the management etc how to run the club...cos up till now (especially in the last few months) theyve been doing a damn good job imo.
Crowds are getting bigger and it's rare that there's a bad report on here....so surely theyre doing something right on their own without the likes of all the regualrs or boardmembers sticking their oar in??

    i wasnt having a go at u

not really cos people seem to keep thinking that they 'know best' and can therefore dictate what goes on.....yes express an opinion about who u want to see etc but i dont see why people should be having a go at the organisers when they already seem to be doing pretty well themselves, or how else would they be securing nights like this, the boat, the telewest etc??
