First clubbing moment

hate to admit this.... but mine was jules on serious tour @ ncl uni about 3/4 year ago, been into dance music buying compilations and stuff before that, but remember thinking he was wicked!! played rba - no alternative, kristeen blond - loveshy amongst many others, was totally sober and loved it!!! was around the same time promise started and went to promise the next week, guy ornadel (i think!) was on then was totally hooked. end of story

didnt think jules was as good as the year before, but cos it was me first 'clubbing experience' dont think anything couldve beat it, no matter how good it was

the journey to leeds and all that happened after seeing the hardhouse version of Fergie at the shack sticks in my mind as our defining moment.

probably my first time in bedrock though, culminating in the best finish to set i've ever witnessed by digweed.

Mine was Nice up north a mini festival at newcastle race course, Scott bond was on when I went in and that was it I was hooked

First time 'proper' clubbing was at The Wag in London in 1988. Good old acid house. Went to a few big nights in the early '90s, such as Phobia, Up Yer Ronson, Megadog, Trade tent at Pride etc, but didn't get into it as a weekly thing until around '96 at Nice.

first "propa" clubbin experience if we dont include all the cheesy clubs, was at the empire in april 1999 for judge jules and lisa loud and we all went afta our school prom and i was embarasingly dressed in my long ball gown and was wearing a diamond tiara lol!!! people must av bin lookin at us all thinkin we were absolute freaks lol!! no1 reeli liked it apart from me n one of ma best mates julie who loved it then went a couple of weeks afta that 2 see erick morillo and then afta that went every week 4 the next 3 years!!! xxxx
