    addicted to drink

    lookin at the thread about giving up the drink.. i never really feel the urge for a drink unless im really pissed off so it doesnt really make sense to me how people have to force hemselves 'time off the drink' as if its something hard to do... reckon i could go the rest of my life without a drink no problem...

    jus thinkin how many people on here are addicted to drink?

    I drink most weekends (Fri & Sat) and the odd midweek night - nothing too excessive though.

    I gave up drinking last Monday.....Tuesday I had a hangover......It just cant be done.......keep throwing up blood too..........healthy as ever!

    I'm the same as you Tom, i do drink on a night out, but i could quite easily have a night out without the drink, it doesnt bother me that much.:)

    I luuurve drink.....but

    I quite often come in from work and NEED a drink, will drive via ASDA / Off license on me way home....do i have a problem?

    ....Plus, I have a beer fridge next to my bed too, but it was so cheap i just had to buy it.:( :D

    9 times out of 10 - i only ever drink on weekends.. or the occasional friday every 2/3 months - Drinking during the week is a bad idea in my line of work, and for getting up at 6am every day :cry:

    On a saturday night - I really look forward to a couple of bottles of wine with the missus, or out on the town.... Back when i was 21 i would go clubbing/drinking 3/4 times a week - was spending 800 quid a month nearly just on going out at one point :spangled:

    Can take it or leave it these days - its best kept for special occasions or when you've really earned it :)

    Having said that, when your young and carefree and at university or whatnot - its the time to get hammered as much as possible - that time will only happen once in your life :D :D

    love avin a drink but certianly not addicted!! me mar hailz n dave n the rest ov the midweek crew last year were at one pont i would hav said lol!! every ntie we sued to get about a million obttles ov wine n just get hammered but we have since calmed down lots and only drink about 2 nites a week at the most!! when i was a teenage fuck up at about 15/16 i was a bit ov an alcoholic for a couple ov months but ma mam n dad bin te bestest mammy n daddy in the world that they are helped me sort maself out aarrgghh cud cringe when i think how i used to be at that age!! :spangled: :( was far worse then in terms ov bin a caner than i eva eva am these days!!! xxxx

    Very true. I know a few people who drink in the house, but it has never been an issue to me. I only drink if I go out, or for a few before the match. Never drink through the week just for the sake of it.

    I'm not dead against it, just has never appealed to me. Like I said people I work with have 4 cans or whatever every night, but it's just not for me. I feel like getting mortal atm though, but I'm not going to!:)
