crasher Not criticising but after Matt gave them 8 years i thought that they would have at least of put something up on the website hes gave them so much it looks to me like they have no respect for. If i was in charage at crasher i would have but a massive thankyou Matt on the site hes done so much and they aint said nout come on if tulip ever left promise (never happen like) promise would hold a thankyou party i would imagine. It just seems to be the end of an era at crasher who next ive heard new resident could be Marco V love him but totally different to matt. No one can or ever will replace Matt Hardwick
Maybe his leaving wasnt "amicable" hence the quick announcement only AFTER he played his last set that he was leaving... and the total lack of any announcement on the site.
They might have put something on the site but never the message board. Its common knowledge that the GC management have wanted nothing to do with the board for a long time n would rather have it closed down. It was only Ben and Rowan who ever posted anything on the board (and the board admin that i cant remember the name of)
Re: crasher GC won't need a new resident because they won't hardly have any nights where they would need one. They are having different genres of music nights now, not trance, etc all the time. Can't see them getting another resident in!
Im not saying better, jus different, may attract diff types of ppl to the clubs, and even the ones who are, dare I say it, bored of Matt.

In a few years time or even sooner they wont be a Crasher because they make so much from S1 1DJ at Gatecrasherone, Crashers complete lack of interest just shows they are only interested in making money even if that means leaving trance to promote commercial dance.
U know I love Matt as much as any of u, so dont say that. But change can be cud sometimes. Not everybody loves Matt Hardwick u know. Marco V has a much bigger (not longer ) name than Matt. I was jus making a comment, dear.
i can't agree more mate!! Crasher are only out to make money now - you could see this by how badly organised the NEC event was!! And the lack effort to promote the Boxing Day event, the management are running what was the greatest superclub in the world, right into the ground!
Basically Simon Raine doesn't give a shit anymore, Gatecrasher as we knew it is dead, tbh it died ages ago. I probably won't ever go to another event, out of principle. The management treat the people who made the club with contempt and arrogance, they're a fucking joke.
