Hope i`m wrong guys & Taucher is in fact mint this w/e, but if your hoping he`ll be playing in his trad. german trance style i`m afraid that he doesn`t play this style any more, i had seen him at crasher boxing day `99 & he was beyond awesome so when he was on again i went to see him at `crasher late last yr. he spoilt the night by playing a rather bland concoction of tribal prog. right in the middle of this he dropped tall paul my precious heart - yes this is true! At this point the crowd had had enough & loads of us sat down on the dancefloor, something i had`nt witnessed before!!! Hope he`s better on fri. but i fear his legendary days like Oakey are behind him, it`s PaSSion for me this w/e - Johan Gielen, Push, Sir Guy O. & JFK - Bring it on!!!
Iv noticed this recollection of the night before on the GC message board but im afraid it doesn't match with what I remember of the night. His set that night was proggy and EXCELLENT. As for a few of "US" sitting on the dancefloor..... well a few cyberflids spat their dummies this is true, but they always do when someone one DARES to play anything else but Trance at GC. Taucher plays Prog Trance --> Euphoric Trance. Quite similar to Guy Ornadel but minus the cheese. The terrible set you talk ov in Crasher is one of the best I had heard.......Im my clubbing life.

Technofish - sorry mate, i`m glad you liked tauchers set @ `crasher, just was`nt what i was expecting, maybe i was wanting him to play in his classy uplifting german trance style of `99, you must admit "my precious heart" was not a great moment though, hope he is on form friday for you! Helen my friend, nice nursery rhyme about Guy, maybe you dont like him, but you are very much in the minority, incidentally he didnt play precious heart @ PaSSion, although @ the start of his set he played one or two unfortunate tunes e.g; warrior, but hey no ones infallible, if i remember you were in the chill out for 3/4 of his set anyway so you cant make a fair comment, personally i thought it rocked, thought it was better than ferries & a close second to JFK`s (did`nt hear Armin for reasons you know only too well!), i bet if you were to cast a poll of the most popular DJ`s & asked people to exclude the big names & think of the one english DJ that rocks every time you would get Guy O. - One top down to earth geezer that plays banging hard/euphoric sets & interacts with the crowd like no other DJ!
