Promise Net Radio Just an idea seeing as though so many many of the guys on here are mixing, why doesn't Promise do something to Gurns Pick a Mix? I remember a while back this was done with the residents mixes being available to listen. Would be a nice addition if something like this could get up and running.
i agree... 'promise radio' would be a good thing in my eyes. plenty of potential dj's and i would imagine the site is getting more views than ever so it would probably get a fair few listeners... could also give people another reason to visit the site.
yeh thats an xlent idea, btu why not have paromiseALWAYS net radio so there can be a variety of music being played TRANCE/HOUSE/FUNKY HOUSE! its what the kids want
We just need to find affordable bandwidth to do this, I'm well up for the idea but we need to keep the costs to a minimum.
but the chances of getting an FM license for more than a month is virtually non existent. it cost £2000 for a month long restricted service license, which NSR uses. going pirate is not worth the risk as you always get caught, and the only other licenses are the permanent ones and held by the big companies who run metro, galaxy, century etc. i wonder how gurn.net do it as there archove seems to be rammed with different mixes?
