Well done to England what a match. Tremendous even better by winning it in their back yard. Puts our football boys to shame in evey way

How? simple 1) When do you see rugby players chasing the ref round the pitch like spoilt brats. Never they have total respect for the ref. 2) When was the last time a rugby player brought shame on his sport. 3) In my opinion it has no prima donnas. 4) They are the only english team in a major sport capable of winning something.

The whole aspect of rugby is much more dignified than football though really, and I'm a massive footy fan!

The players respect the ref and respect each other too - you only had to hear the way the Aussie players were congratulating the English.

Plus, whenever there were crowd shots, there were England shirts and Aussie shirts all in and around one another - how many times would that happen in football without some meathead starting a fight?

    Re: rugby

Ive never seen it, because its not on TV very much, and theres no where near as much money involved in rugby than there is in football. The players are bound to get more competitive and argumentative in football. and they cant let their frustration out any other way. In rugby they can punch and stamp on the oponents and nothing much is said.

May this year, when a team in wales refused to take their drug tests when asked to by UKSport. Yet when Rio ferinand forgets to take his, its all over the papers. Again, because theres more ephasis on football.
and theres that thing involving martin johnson in 2001.

    Maybe.

which sports do you include in 'Major sports'?

The England football team are certainly capable of winning something. they got very close last year. If it hadnt have been for the fluky seaman lob, we probably would have won the thing.

So dont say that we are not capable.
