i know ppl who go out every weekend with the intention of causing fights...ppl with mentality like that shouldn't b allowed to live & ruin other ppl's nites & lives (if they end up in a fight & cause serious damage to the person)

Charvers have as much right to a peaceful, fun night out as everyone else - HOWEVER, they choose to dress in a way which associates themselves with a Peer group who are associated with nothing more than violence, crime and ruining other peoples nights out.

The question is now, does the average charve lookalike "know" they do this - or are they just brought up in an environment where mid priced branded clothes are what their section of society deems affluent or not?

.......... in light of this conundrum a unique junture is reached: Do we embrace that which is charve....

    or....

Do we just kick the scally phucknuts out of Promise cause they ruin it for everyone else

All clubs and venues have charvas / neds.

The arches is rife with them, so was cream but they help keep the scene going. Hopefully they get in to it and become the "cool with it clubbers" we all are.

    ;)

totally agree, just because someone wears a certain top or pair of rockports they are still entitled to get in to a club and have a dance...

i for one like yourself are in that club every time promise is on and in three yrs i can count on my hand how many times i have seen a fight...

I think the doorman do a good job IF!!!! they is any bother in there,

trance classics was particuarly the charvas choice..

i dont mind them cos i rarely random anymore.. its usually the more 'respectable' types that hassle me for stuff...

I'd rather have the scabs in, than no Promise, which is what would happen if they didn't come.

    EXACTLY mate!!!!!!!!

The "charvers" in promise have as much right to be there as the next person....i find that they have a bit crack on with you and a laugh just like anyone else!

I think people get confused as to which charvers actually cause trouble (mostly!).

The ones that sit a\round on street corners, hang about bus stops, outside shops looking for trouble etc...fair play..burm em all the horrible twats!

BUT...the ones in clubs I find to be no bother AT ALL.,...they are there to have a good time just like anyone else!

Was the same when I went to that Hanger 13 the other Saturday - as soon as we walked in the amount of "charvers" was unreal...loads of stripey tops etc...yet none of them had a bad word to say or were being arseholes...in fact was total opposite.....askin if were havin a gud night etc..spot on!

Some people need to get their heads out of their own arses and stop looking for things to moan about and concentrate on havin a good night instead :D

    It isnt difficult :)
